H2O: Just Add Water in Capri

For my third weekend in Italy, my three friends and I traveled to Positano and lived our absolute best lives. This weekend was my favorite by far for a variety of reasons: our Airbnb, the food, and the atmosphere. I lived like I was in a movie – Positano is a dream.

After climbing what seemed like a billion stairs, we finally reached our gorgeous Airbnb that overlooked the whole town and gave us a view of the Mediterranean Sea. Our balcony was just as large as the inside of the house which meant we sat outside more than we were inside, but we did not complain. The first night we decided to cook ourselves dinner which consisted of appetizers like prosciutto and melon, and fresh bread, butter, mozzarella, and olive oil. Our main course was spaghetti and sautéed tomatoes with white wine oil.

The next day, we had booked a 90 euro 8-hour boat tour, which seems like a lot, but when you think about us having four hours in Capri where we were left to explore, it was definitely worth it. Our driver called us four The Spice Girls the entire day which we will remember forever. I swam in the rocky-shore beach and we were surrounded by rocks and what looked like a cave, which is why I named this entry “H2O: Just Add Water”. It reminded me of the show I used to watch when I was younger.

Our final day in Positano we booked a limoncello tour in which we tried homemade Nutella, pistachio cream, and of course limoncello. My weekend was one people dream of – I was one of those people. I will definitely be traveling to Positano again.
