Hello,
My name is Alondra Galvan! I am a recipient of the Ellsworth G. Simmons International Leadership Award. I have the opportunity to travel abroad in Paris, France for the semester of Spring 2020. I am a dance major. I am a junior in the USF dance program. From January 7th to May 5th, I get to enjoy my passion of dancing in the “City of Love”. I have dreamed of this program for years and now I get to fully embark on this journey through creative work shops, dance classes, education courses, visits to museums, and much much more. I am also departing to Berlin, Germany and Amsterdam, Netherlands to fulfill my courses through different choreographers.
The most exciting event I am looking forward to is dancing on the streets of Paris. As an aspiring choreographer, I want to video my work in sight specific lands throughout the places I visit while on this journey. I hope to network and connect with as many locals and choreographers across the sea so that one day I can come back and invest my work on Parisian dancers. This journey will push me to be the most persistent, intentional, creative, and passionate human I can be.
Watch my weekly vlogs! I will be posting every Sunday to keep you up to date on my whereabouts, courses, and events!
Au Revoir, Mon Ami’s.
That’s so awesome. Good luck in your exciting Journey.
