This week we took the ferry to Inis Mor, the largest of the three Aran Islands on the west coast of Ireland. The Aran Islands felt like going back in time to the 1600s. We were hiking around the island and stumbled upon these incredible cliffs. We were the only ones there and the beach below looked untouched by man.

After arriving back in Galway we had a great meal of Irish beef stew and wandered around the city going into some beautiful cathedrals and talking to people.

On Wednesday, we took a group trip to Dublin on the other coast of Ireland. We visited the Guinness brewery and saw how the country’s national beer is made. The highlight of the trip to Dublin was seeing the Trinity College and its awesome historic library.
