Week 1 in London! Here come the fish n’ chips

Hey everyone,

All I want to say is Wow!

Week one is almost over with and it has felt like a month. Let me tell you how my days have been. I wake up at 9 and make breakfast, shower and get ready for class at 11. More so, I have class until 1 then I scramble to the grocery store to get more food at which point I have to make it back to campus for my afternoon class at 3. Finally, when class is over with, I have a little bit of a sightseeing adventure wether it’s Big Ben or the British Museum. Afterwards, I get together with some friends to get dinner and study… and a little bit of sightseeing if we have the chance to afterwards. Getting acclimated to this city has been such a breathtaking experience. It’s completely different from the cozy, suburban lifestyle I’ve had in Tampa and I say that with complete optimism. As I sit here and write this blog in British library (which is a monument to it’s own respect) I see how fast life works here and I love it. The city is so diverse. It truly is a melting pot. As they say in London, Cheerio.

“Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.” ~Mark Twain
