Weekend with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain and pizza in Florence, Italy

Buenos Dias!

I am more than half way through my summer study abroad in Spain and I am so shocked that it has gone by so fast! My favorite part about studying abroad is the amount of freedom I have. I’ve been traveling everywhere on the days I don’t have class. This past weekend, I went to Pamplona, Spain to witness San Fermin aka the running of the bulls. This festival was very intense, and the small town of Pamplona nearly doubles its population because visitors from all over want to either watch people run with the bulls or run with the bull themselves! Seeing this tradition was insane yet beautiful.

After Pamplona, we hoped on a plane to Florence, Italy. Florence was no doubt the most beautiful place I have ever been in my life. It is very stereotypical to say but the food was simply amazing and the atmosphere was unlike anywhere else. I tried a cannoli, which is my favorite dessert at home, and I was blown away. We also climbed over 400 stairs to the top of the Duomo. The view made every step worth it. You could see all of Florence. I couldn’t stop taking pictures.

After this last week of classes, we are off to Barcelona and then we make our way to Paris. I love that I am able to travel to all the places in the short amount of four weeks. In Barcelona, I will try paella. In Paris, I will probably eat dozens of pastries!

Here are some amazing pictures from my amazing weekend!
