Ciao!
I have had the most amazing time in Italy. Most people find it funny that my first plane ride was a 9 hour flight from Tampa to Zurich, and then from Zurich to Florence. I did not sleep at all on the flight which made it a little miserable, but I did get some cool pictures. Sorry they are sideways, I can’t figure out how to rotate them! I’ll get the hang of this blogging thing soon.

My apartment is the cutest! I also got paired with two awesome girls also from USF. I have became so close with them after such a short period of time, I am so thankful!
Florence is more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Around every corner there is a grand cathedral, a perfect view of the Fiume Arno and mountains, or a whole street filled with cute shops and delicious gelato. I have only gotten time to eat out a couple times, but let me tell you, the food is amazing! Every aspect of Italy and the food culture is authentic. I have been to the San Lorenzo market, and all the ingredients are so fresh. With all of my food that I either am served at a restaurant or I grab at a bar, I know it is genuine and tasty!
This past weekend I went to Venice with the program! The first day was awful weather, but Sunday was absolutely beautiful. Venice is just as romantic and pretty as everyone says.
We have school off on Wednesday, and today is my roommates birthday. We are grabbing pizza from Gusta’s and heading up to the Piazza Michelangelo to watch the sunset. We also might go to the gardens because it is a beautiful day out.
Arrivederci, till next week!
